Chinese Government Scholarship (CSC) 2027: China is now becoming one of the most popular destinations and is at the forefront of studies. It attracts thousands of students annually through scholarship programs. Similarly, China has now opened fully funded scholarships for international students who wish to study in Chinese universities.

Types of Scholarship and their Benefits

Type A Full Scholarship (Embassy/Government Channel)

Type B (Partial Scholarship)

Type C (Partial Scholarship)
It will grant only some of the above costs (the cost varies accordingly).
Note: If you can afford your own living expenses, try applying for Type B or Type C, which will strengthen your possibility of acceptance compared to the highly competitive Type A.

Eligibility Criteria of the Chinese Government Scholarship (CSC)
Here are some of the requirements you need to complete for the scholarship program:
- You must be a non-Chinese citizen.
- Must hold a high school diploma for a bachelor’s degree, a bachelor’s degree for a master’s, and a master’s for a PhD.
- You must not exceed 25 years for a bachelor’s degree, 35 years for a master’s, and 40 years for a PhD.
- You must not be a recipient of any other Chinese government scholarship at the time of application.
- You must meet the language proficiency (Chinese or English) requirements for your chosen program.
Documents Requirement
Before applying, applicants must gather the following documents:
- CSC Online Application Form (to be filled later).
- Highest academic degree and transcripts.
- Study Plan or Research Proposal.
- Two Recommendation Letters.
- Passport Copy.
- Physical Examination Form.
- Certificate of Language Proficiency (HSK for Chinese, IELTS/TOEFL for English-taught programs).
- Acceptance Letter (if obtained from a professor).
- No Criminal Record Certificate.
